Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PlatePoll app. By downloading or using PlatePoll, you agree to these Terms. PlatePoll is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); where these Terms and the Apple EULA differ, the stricter applicable provision controls.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use PlatePoll on Apple devices you own or control, for your own household and non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions and billing

• PlatePoll Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription: $14.99 / month or $79 / year (about $6.58/month). The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• One Pro subscription covers a single household and can be shared with up to 6 people through Apple Family Sharing.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the App Store under your Apple ID settings. If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and your Apple ID is charged.
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Restaurant and recipe information

PlatePoll surfaces restaurant details (such as ratings, hours, photos, and service options) and recipes from third-party sources and on-device suggestions. This information is provided "as is" and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Always confirm hours, availability, prices, and dietary or allergen information directly with the restaurant or recipe source before relying on it. PlatePoll is a tool to help you decide — it is not responsible for the food, service, or accuracy of any third-party listing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers

PlatePoll is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing or suggestion will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlatePoll and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we make changes.
